New ZealandRuby is a graduate designer who has recently completed a degree in design for social innovation with a minor in anthropology. She learned different design thinking skills from this degree and was pushed to think speculatively of the world around us to imagine a better future. She has experience in visualising ideas and effectively communicating complex information. With her anthropology background, she has learned different ways of learning about people, cultures, and society in a respectful and meaningful way. With these skills, she hopes to make lasting changes in the world and tackle some of its wicked problems. Her work at Victoria University won her the ‘Springload Award for Innovation and Excellence within Design for Social Innovation.’
