Danielle takes pride in being a busybody ethnographer. Armed with lenses borrowed from sociology, anthropology and cultural studies, she is keen to explore how these can be applied to the world of human-centered design to answer meaningful questions.

Before joining ThinkPlace, Danielle was a cultural and consumer insights researcher in the Southeast Asia region, specialising in communication (semiotics) and market strategy design work in categories such as Food & Beverage, Nutrition and Personal Care. In previous past lives, she was also a qualitative researcher at a non-profit and policy think-tanks such as the Institute of Policy Studies and Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, looking at socio-cultural ground up movements in Asia.
