Michael’s passion is problem solving and he doesn’t shy away from a challenge. His unbridled curiosity drives him to explore new ideas and different ways of looking at things, to better understand the world and the people in it.
Michael has strong skills in research, user experience design, service design, product development and project management. His approach is human centred and he has over five years’ experience working with organisations in finance, accounting, IT, design and engineering to develop innovative software and product design solutions.
Michael has worked with Legal Aid NSW to develop a new strategy for how the organisation delivers client service. Taking a co-design approach, the project brought together many voices to understand the legal and non-legal issues facing highly vulnerable and disadvantaged people in need of help. The project resulted in a unified vision for the future of client service within Legal Aid NSW and set the tone for how the organisation moves forward in future.
Michael has a Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design & Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from The Queensland University of Technology. He has also completed a User Experience Design course at General Assembly and has PRINCE2 Foundation level certification
