With a background in globalisation studies, Manasa is an avid storyteller and designer who is passionate about championing diverse voices across societies and cultural contexts. She enjoys looking for inspiration and insights in the most unlikely situations and believes good design has the power to revolutionise, bond and empower communities. As a keen patron of the arts with a background in theatre and music, she believes in the immense potential of the arts in design, particularly in sense-making, fostering connections and breaking barriers.
Manasa has multi-lingual capabilities and a core belief in thge role of empathetic design across the public and private sector, particularly in the Asian context. With prior experience in e-commerce, editorial, sustainable investments and the startup world, Manasa strongly believes in the need for innovation across sectors and is deeply interested in the role of the arts in social impact and entrepreneurship. Manasa holds a Bachelor’s (Liberal Arts) from the University of Tokyo and Masters’ (Global Thought) from Columbia University and has lived in India, Singapore, Japan, the UK and the US.
